Subject: Sale of our House

Friends,   

  Contrary to the rumors being spread by an employee of Shady Public Works, our house sale and subsequent departure from tyranny is progressing.  However, the Public Works Department of Shady, in its on going effort to harass us, has begun to spread certain determinations (perhaps better defined as further example of half truth) on progress of our home sale. 

The McCarthyism practiced by this city hall should not be challenged for fear of reprisal by Public Works or higher officials. 

We have all finally become safe from police harassment because of an honorable chief.     Therefore, until Karla and I provide email note, just before disconnect and pack of the computer, we respectfully request that all inquiries of our real-estate sale progress and associated moving date be directed to George Bostic, Public Works Director (878-3322)

or Elise Smurzynski, his boss and City Administrator (878-3757). 

If they refuse to answer your inquiry, try a councilor or the mayor for answer to our personal business.

     It may seem strange that this avenue be taken for private and personal business, but when it comes to ethics, honor, honesty and integrity, this city hall, (less the new chief) continues a policy of violating privacy and rights. 

And then wonder, ours may not be the only privacy they invade.
